Dearborn Heights, Michigan seems to have rodent problems

All the residents of Dearborn Heights, Michigan seem to be on high alert with all of the rodent problems that they are experiencing

After the storms we have had past few days, we have now started to hear scratching sounds in ceiling above living room in late afternoon/evening. We suspect squirrels as there are many in our large backyard. We do not own this house but we have lived here for over 10 years and have never had any pest issues before this.                 -Jocelyn K

Voles are destroying our landscaping. We don\'t think they are living under our structures as there is so much raw brush close by. We have tried to stay awake to terminate them but they are elusive. We have caught the voles in the flower gardens and the meadow several times. This has become of heightened concern since our most valuable horse had to be put down last month due to a broken leg that the vet said was most likely the result of running and stepping in a hole. Please advise your solution.            -Leonard P

I am hearing scratching inside the walls of my house (both exterior walls and interior walls) and it is often during the day, which leads me to believe that it is mice. I also saw a small mouse go under my house the other day. We need the mice gone and multiple entry points closed up. There is no attic entry in our house. It is a manufactured house.   -Amy S

We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Dearborn Heights and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.

Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.

Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.

Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.

I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Animal Problems in Dearborn Heights, Michigan

The locals of Dearborn Heights, Michigan have been dealing with animal problems for years, and we are lucky enough to hear about it.

We think we have a bat in the basement but we are not 100% sure that it is a bat. We can hear something that definitely sounds like a bat but my husband heard it during the day. We can\'t find it and it hasn\'t been flying around (that we’ve seen). Can we get someone to check out our home and get rid of the bat, or whatever else it is?        -Joanne O

We appear to have had an animal or animals living in our attic for some time now, and we are seriously concerned about the damage they might be causing. We are NOT sure what animal it is because we have never seen it/them. From the sounds of it, it/they appear to be rather large so I am thinking they could be raccoons. We would like to have a professional come over and remove the raccoons as soon as possible.       -Ewen M

I noticed a skunk had sprayed nearby our house a month or so ago. Then I found a spot where I\'m assuming the skunk had dug under our house. I filled the hole and didn\'t hear or see anything since, at least until last night. The skunk dug the hole back out, and I could hear it crawl under our house. I later saw it walking around in our yard. That\'s all I really know right now, well that and the fact that I want it out!         -Carolina R
